Our Preschool Program
We are a faith-based preschool located in the heart of La Jolla, serving children ages two through five. Our program offers both Half Day and Full Day options, with a school day beginning at 8:45 am and flexible pick-up times at 12:00 pm, 1:00 pm, or 4:00 pm.
Our curriculum is play-based, with a strong emphasis on social-emotional development as the foundation for learning. Through hands-on experiences, meaningful relationships, and guided exploration, children build confidence, independence, and a love of learning.
A typical day includes art, music and movement, early literacy, outdoor play, and teacher-led group time—all within a nurturing, faith-centered environment.
Flexible Scheduling
Families may choose a schedule that best fits their needs. For families combining Half Day and Full Day options, a minimum of 3 days per week is required.
Our program is designed to provide both consistency and flexibility, allowing families to build a weekly schedule that supports their child’s development and their family routine.
Twos Class
For children beginning their preschool experience, we recommend starting with 2–3 days per week to support a gentle transition, comfort, and routine.
Families may choose up to 5 days per week based on their child’s readiness and family needs.
Threes Class
As children grow in confidence and independence, we recommend 3–4 days per week to support social development and consistency.
Families may choose a schedule that best fits their needs, up to 5 days per week.
Fours Class (Pre-K)
To support strong kindergarten readiness, we recommend 4–5 days per week, allowing for deeper engagement, routine, and skill development in a Pre-K environment.
